Cycle Teknix’s workshop specialises in bicycle repairs and modifications. This is our primary focus and service to our clients since the opening of this facility. The workshop is equipped with the state of the art equipment, especially made for the cycling industry.
Our servicing staff being competitive cyclist themselves, they know how important it is that your bicycle must be in tip top condition at all times.
We specialise in wheel building. If you have a wheel that is buckled or needs repairs, come and speak to us for assistance.
Whether you are a recreational cyclist or professional, we have a variety of services available to meet you individual needs. There is no job too big or too small for us.
The following services do not include any parts or spares fitted. They are all additional to the service prices.
With any A-Service or B-Service you will receive a checklist that has been completed by our technician, giving you a detailed summary explaining the required needs.
A-Service
- Strip bicycle down to bear frame.
- Wash and oil components individually.
- Truing of wheels-Setting of spokes.
- Readjusting of gears.
- Readjusting of brakes.
- Re-oiling cables and cable casing.
- Opening and servicing of all bearings-Wheel hubs, headset and bottom bracket.
- Checking brake pads ,tyres, etc for wear and tear. |
B-Service
- Wash bicycle and oil components.
- Truing of wheels-Setting of spokes.
- Readjusting of gears.
- Readjusting of brakes.

- Setting bearings-Adjusting hub cones, headset and bottom bracket.
